After breaking my collarbone I missed the devising process and rehearsals for my practical examination in theatre studies. I'm also unable to do the performance due to the break. My tutors have said when I'm back they'll make alternative arrangements for me. However, the circumstances mean that were I to do the assessment at a later date I would have to do the whole thing on my own, rather than in a group as I was supposed to. Also, I would have to do it during second semester meaning I would hava large amount of extra work on top of my new modules. Obviously this is making me rather anxious. I am wondering if there is any chance they will give me an estimated grade without me doing the examination instead, as I'm in first year so it doesn't count towards my results, and we do small unassessed peformances each week so my tutor has seen my ability to an extent previously. Does anyone have anyone have any similar experience or could this maybe be a possibility?
