I hate personal statements, I don't know why I want to take computer science other than it will hopefully get me into a decent career with a decent salary. I'm only taking 2 A-Levels and an AS so my choices of uni aren't big anyway. Its just so much stress so I've just ignored it.

Do a foundation year. Trust me your better off doing an extra year and going to a good uni.

I'm applying to one foundation year but the rest of my uni choices aren't bad (Essex, Kent etc)

Consider a year at college rather than immediately going into university. Honestly, not only will it pad out the qualifications you have but that way you'll have figured out other things you like about the course so you can write an efficient, honest statement that says more than 'I want a secure future'.
