Hi there, wondering if anyone has tried to change courses before at Roehampton. I have a conditional for Marketing, but my plan was to do a PGCE after (long story). Wondering if I can change to primary education. Any one had any luck?

If you have the entry requirements for the new course, then you need to ask the uni and see what they say. Be prepared for them to know why you want to change - they may ask you to send in a new personal statement for the new course, or to briefly answer some questions. If you are sure you want to make this change then ask them asap - the later you leave it, the less likely they are to have spaces on the new course.

    Great thank you!

Do you know if I would lose my current place there if I was to ask to change? Almost as if I had to reapply?

I went there and decided to leave. I spoke to a guy who went from History to zoology... I'm pretty sure they are keen for people to stay at the uni so I'm sure you could once you are accepted in.
Oh and by the way... don't chose south-lands accommodation... the rooms are like cell blocks and the surrounding area is just depressing. I mean there is a nice close-nit living space but really... I have seen pictures of better prison cells... and for £5000 a year it is pathetic.
