Sixth Form Applications Watch

    • Thread Starter

After looking into several sixth forms to apply for I have whittled it down to two different sixth forms that I liked. St Dominic's and Harris Westminster. They're drastically different with st Doms being more chilled out and not having any entry exams or interviews and Harris having exams and all the lot. I am applying to both to do maths further maths physics and politics. I am a general A*-A student in all my subjects but am worried for the Harris exams which i am taking next week in maths and physics. Although I am good at maths and physics, entry exams can always be really trippy (which I found after failing 1 entry exam already, oops). Can any Harris students say whether they think I have a genuine chance of getting in or whether I should just settle for going to st Doms. If so, how can I prepare for these exams and then if I pass them, an interview in maths

You may not get a reply on here as what you're asking is quite specialist. You can easily just apply to both places and see where you get. Does the college give you any info about what to expect with the exam and how to prepare? Regarding the interview, make sure you know your application well and can talk about why this college and course and what you want to do in the future.
