I am a well liked person with many friends that I love and am very lucky to have

However I always feel really paranoid when I am on my own that people dislike me and find me annoying... I don't know if this is the case or not but I figure if it was I wouldn't have the amazing friends that I do... how do I stop myself thinking this way? It's a serious issue and I always have a lot of self hatred

Unless you're incredibly and unusually obnoxious in some really significant way...

You become more comfortable with what people think of how you act, by realising how seldom they do. This sounds negative, but it isn't really. Everybody else is simply too busy worrying about their own insecurities, whether they are annoying or not, to care about if you are.

Same, I fit in well and have lots of friends. Sometimes when I'm talking with my friends we talk about other people (nothing necessarily horrible, we don't get enjoyment in being snakes lol, just the odd comment), and I can't help but think that somewhere, someone is talking about me- and they might not have anything nice to say. At the end of the day it doesn't matter, as long as they treat me well, I'll do the same. No point in worrying about something that may or may not happen.

I feel like I can be though? But then I think I am being paranoid because I make and keep good friends quite easily...
