    Im talking Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Charlatans.....

    I wish I was alive during that period! The hacienda must've been on a different level!

    Anyone else interested in this era of music?

    I used to listen to a lot of this music, not so much anymore as it gets old after a while. Went to Stone Roses at Heaton Park in 2012 and the follow up gig in London the next year and both were awesome experiences, the issue in terms of recorded music to listen to is that their back catalogue is so finite you can listen to every decent track they ever produced in the space of an evening.

    Some of the New Order, 808 State and that kind of material comes off a bit one dimensional now compared to a lot of the Rock and roll stuff I listen to unfortunately but it was revolutionary at the time and still has its place

    Sadly, Manchesters most popular band these days are the Courteeners and they're absolute garbage!

    It's true the music is only limited so I'll let u run its course ahaha
