    Hi,

I'm confused about what I need to include for my EPQ submission. The AQA website provides this booklet to complete, though it doesn't specify whether this is all that is required or whether additional material is needed (like tables outlining progress).

I'm confused because their exemplars include lots of tables with lots of detail, though I don't know whether this is required by the exam board. If not, do people structure their tables by themselves or were they provided by the school?

I'd be grateful for any help.

    Hiya,

We had a production log that we filled in online but it could be printed out. My school used a website called projectQ.

I included some appendixes in my whole project such as tables of my survey data and a template of my survey questions. I also added my project task schedule (an Excel spreadsheet) to my production log as proof of planning and organisation. I was advised that little things like this can boost your mark as you're providing evidence of the skills that they're looking for.

    Hey Hariex,

I personally didn't add anything extra to my EPQ, my final submission included my Log Book, essay, bibliography and evidence of my presentation (i.e. copies of the slides). I don't think extra pieces of work such as essay plans or tables are essential, I didn't submit any and still achieved an A, but as VioletPhillippo said, things like that may help gain extra marks for planning, organisation etc. I'd suggest asking your supervisor if they think you could/should add extra things though just to be sure
