The thread has vanished, no explanation.

This is why I don't put any effort into my posts these days. But some people on that thread did put effort in, and its been wasted, because of what I will assume is a technical error.

Just to clarify, this is just a discussion of technical issues of TSR. A lot of my threads have been affected by these technical issues resulting in dead links, I would like to know what TSR tech support (or whatever) is doing about it.

Are you sure someone didn't get triggered & close it rather than a technical error?

If it were a moderator action, then I should have recieved a notification and a card. I am positive that this is a technical error, and can we please not imply the moderators removed it, because discussion of moderator actions is against the rules.

It was closed on political grounds. I can't tell you the number of threads and posts I have had censored because I am right wing. Some snowflake got triggered.

Ironically though, it has given you the answer the the question raised by your deleted thread.

The lousy moderation quality is basically known to everyone who frequent these sub-forums. The pitiful attempt in denying the same is even more.

    Amen, brother.

It is by far the site's biggest problem. The sub forum attracts a surprisingly small number of posters (compared to the wider site), and the best ones often move swiftly on.

There is bound to be churn, of course, but it doesn't take many censored posts to feel like it isn't worth bothering with.

It is a problem on the the whole web, actually. Those with light touch moderation policies are by far the most interesting, but they are few and far between nowadays.

You are correct in that it was a mistake. I have approved the original thread so it should be back up now.
