So I have finally received all positive answers of unconditional offer from all of the universities for studying mech eng and ended up choosing between Nottingham and Southampton

After making my research I have seen that Nottingham has a better living conditions as there are more things to do than Southampton, and is also much cheaper, but Southampton is higher up in the University rankings.

I am leaning towards Nottingham, but seeing it clearly academically, will it make any difference if I finish the mech eng course in Nottingham or in Southampton?

I am uncertain as to what you mean by "seeing it clearly academically", but to answer your question, no, not really, unless either university offers something that you are really interested in or has an industrial link you'd really like to capitalise on.
