I previously undertook 2 years of university before leaving during the second year. I want to apply again at a different uni on a different course. Someone told me I'm still eligible for 2 years of funding. If so, would it be during the first 2 years? Would it include the grant and the maintenance loan too? (which I got the first time round).

I left the original course due to depression and anxiety would this help my application for funding in any way? I dealt with it personally so it would be difficult to provide medical evidence or anything.

Whatever length of course you start you wouldn't get a tuition fee loan for your first year. You should still be eligible for a maintenance loan (although this would be swallowed up paying for your tuition fees)

If you can prove your depression/anxiety then you could apply for one of your previous years to be ignores due to "compelling personal reasons" - but it would require some form of evidence.
