Write down one integer which satisfies the inequality 6x > 42
Treat the inequality like an equation, so you can rearrange for x, then write any integer that satisfies the inequality.

An integer is a whole number. Can you think of a whole number that when multiplied by 6 gives you an answer that is greater than 42?

6,12,18,24,30,36,42
6 goes into 42

You need to carefully read the question I asked (and the original question). You have answered something else entirely,
8

6x >42
x>42/6
Therefore, x>7
(Any integer that is more than 7)
7. (Original post by Itsme99)
Write down one integer which satisfies the inequality 6x > 42
"Find a whole number so that when you times it by 6, the answer is more than 42"
You can't pick 7, as 6 x 7 = 42. But 8, 9, 10, etc is fine
