What if they build a huge space station and use it to destroy a whole planet?
As I said in an earlier post where someone thought about the possibility of Daesh sending a rocket to the moon; Daesh simply does not have the funds or means for space travel. It took the Soviets over 35 years of building up the Soviet economy and using the expertise of captured German rocket scientists in the late 1940s before the Soviets got their space race off the ground. Similarly a lot of US space rockets were designed with the aid of German rocket scientists and the very powerful US economy helped a lot.

Daesh has nowhere near the ability to do that. As for Space station? It took several decades to develop the international space station, Daesh simply doesn't have the time, money or expertise to go into space. Britian has never yet developed its own manned space program despite the fact we invented a lot of important things.

Nope, I'm with Bashar Al Assad and Putin on this one and so should Britain be.

But I do want the Kurds to get their own autonomous republic in North Syria and couldn't careless if that upsets Turkey.

We preserved HMS Belfast and put in the Thames as a museum. We should have preserved HMS Ark Royal as a museum and moored it down stream where the river is wider. We could even have made some of it into a hotel!

We've always had an Ark Royal in since the 1600s.

As for HMS Illustrious we could have turned it into apartments on the Thames, astro-turfed the runway etc. Would have earned millions.
What if a bunch of terrorists infiltrated HMS Belfast and blew up parliament with it? We need to remove this serious security threat right now. Why aren't you concerned about the real threats.

It's guns are aimed at Watford Gap services, what if someone took control of the vessel and blew them up?

What if Daesh are already on Mars and building an army to invade and conquer Earth?

They could hijack HMS Victory and attack Portsmouth docks with it.

Good god, the dangers are everywhere. The only option is to burn down every museum, and completely disarm. Ban the armed forces, we must protect ourselves from ourselves.

I suspect any weapons systems on the HMS Belfast have been disarmed and are inactive. Its engines probably seized as they've not been used for many decades, and being oil fired steam engines, it would take several hours to get enough working steam pressure up before the ship could move. It's not just a case of turning a key and sailing down the Thames like a jet ski.
Then there's pulling the anchor up and the ship might even be held in a concrete foundation and can't go anywhere!

Not likely. Its weapons systems have probably been disarmed and have been inactive for many years.

I have read a lot of Clive Cussler novels.

You could almost say it's been decommissioned...

Clive Cussler is a great author (I was a big fan of his Dirk Pitt novels) but I wouldn't exactly call his books realistic.

There is no doubt that IS has captured many fighter jets and war planes in Syria and Iraq. The fear is they could train members to fly these jets and use jihadist pilots who've joined IS.

There is evidence of a possible IS airforce as seen in this picture of an IS fighter jet pilot.

    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/2...strikes-raqqa/

What if IS starts flying sorties over Europe and even committing WW2 style air raids over Britain like Hitler did?

Is enough being done? Why are we not destroying all IS aircraft in IS territory?
I don't think ISIS is even stupid enough to try, they would be flying ducks. We'd send some ships/jets and they would make excellent target practice of them

The Imperial War Museum are incredibly careless. They leave 15 inch guns just lying around. Anyone could walk off with them
