I am a mature student and want to take an extra A Level in Physics. Physics is recommended for my course, but with the grades I've achieved, I already meet the requirements.

The problem is that I've been having difficulty finding a centre to do it (due to practicals), so I not sure what to do regarding the education section. The deadline for exam entry is not until February, so I was wondering should I put it in as pending now and let them know that I may not be able to take it and remove it later or wait to try to find a place and then tell UCAS to add it in later.

Don't include it in your application yet - Ask your reference to mention that you're trying to find a centre to take the exam and will notify them as soon as it is arranged.

Follow up with a phone call to each of your choices as soon as UCAS process your application to explain that you do intend to sit Physics A level as a private candidate but are trying to finalise the exam centre.

Once it's sorted email the details to [email protected] - when they confirm that your application has been updated notify your universities directly of the change.

Ahh okay, thanks. When I message [email protected], would they be able to put in the predicted grade too?
No they wont be able to do that - get your referee to write that manually into the reference.
