I've decided to transfer to a different uni and to part time at the new one. I've completed the 1st year at my original uni and I completed the 1st term of 2nd year and used my maintenance loan for accommodation and just used the 2nd installment of maintenance loan on my accommodation. I'm at home and haven't been in to uni since November but I haven't told them i am transferring yet as I need my 3rd loan installment in April to finish paying my house accommodation. I'm not fully quitting study but cause I decided to transfer so late I can't start the new one until September 2017, am I still entitled to get my last loan installment if I tell my original uni I'm now transferring.

Hi, I appreciate that you may still need to pay for the remaining accommodation costs, however as you are no longer attending we would require you to contact your University to have them advise of your withdrawal from the course and enable us to reassess your entitlement and advise of any overpayment made to you. However as not attending your University would likely notify us of your withdrawal and we would adjust your entitlement and due to this maybe taking longer it could mean that a higher overpayment is made to you which would be required to be repaid immediately and could effect future funding. Thanks
