    At the moment i'm not finding maths that difficult, but i would really like to get my mechanics up to the standard my pure maths is. Any good Mechanics edexcel spec book available for a decent price?

    What do you define as a decent price? I've just had a look on amazon and it was £16 + pp... you can get used ones for slightly cheaper.

    The edexcelmaths books are definitely the way to go though.

    If you are comfortable learning the topics on your own, I believe there are pdfs available (e.g. The solution bank from physicsandmathstutor) which has all the questions from the edexcel maths book, but not the parts before each question set that explains the topic. This option, of course, is free. Cons are that you can't see the teaching part and it's not a physical copy unless you print it out.
