Starting up studying again watch

    • Thread Starter

Is anyone else struggling with starting up studying again in the new year? My brain feels fast asleep, probably from too much wine over the festive season not to mention the 24 hour journey from the beach cottage with two 9 year olds! I am staring at my page and can't remember what is electrophilic substitution, nucleophilic addition, let alone the difference between an alkene and a carbonyl (Ok I do know that actually). I am wondering what I am doing this for. I have a perfectly good career as a psychologist, why can't I be content with that??? But still I continue. I am far behind on my schedule as I have such limited time to study so right at the moment I am pressing on but feeling glum, I must admit. Is there anyone else out there doing/feeling the same?
Do you think parents should charge rent?
