    Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of joining the Business Management BA at Derby for my final year top-up next year, has anyone else got any experiences of the course/business school? Do classes run on time, good teaching etc?

And also do third years at Derby tend to be over 2 or 3 days per week (as this is quite important to me)?

Any experience you could share would be fantastic, as I'm struggling to decide whether to move or not.

    Thanks in advance,
    Joe

Hi, I’m a first year marketing student so I’m not sure about how many days a week it will be in third year but I’m in three days a week this semester (total of about 12 hours).

I’ve really enjoyed it here so far, all my lecturers respond quickly to queries by email and if there are any room changes etc. then they email us or put it on blackboard so we’re always up to date.

Our lecturers are also great, will always set aside time for a one to one appointment if we need it. A lot of them also work in their fields as well as lecturing, so you get a good idea of what you will be doing after uni from their experiences.

I was also surprised on how nice the city centre is, loads of shops/restaurants/bars to choose from and regular (and cheap) bus services all around the city.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions

    Thanks

    Molly
