    I need to understand this for an assignment but can't get my head around the difference. Please can someone kindly explain!

    Repeat dispensing, is where you get an authorization for more than one prescription, so for example you'll get a set of 6 scripts for one thing so you can dispense those without having to worry about ordering it again for say 6 months.
    Repeat prescribing is where something is able to be ordered again (basically it's not an acute item) but that one prescription you receive can only be dispensed once. Make sense?

    both are essential services i think ( i mean neither fall into advanced services)
