I do mainly mathsy subjects and I got one in my AS year from writing notes.. but its a slight bump but it struck a nerve or something so i couldn't write for a few weeks without pain in my finger so i took a week off of writing properly and it fixed itself and now i dont hold my pen for that long. the bump is still there but it doesnt hurt.
