I am of course a strong pessimist. I'm getting my Maths GCSE results in a week and i'm overly nervous. I know that I can resit but I worry I won't do as well, due to my many other exams that are yet to come. I honestly don't want to even tell my parents what I got if I got a D or below and I know they're strict on my studying, but maths is a whole other important level of studying to them. I'm afraid i'll disappoint them and even if I do get a D or below, i'll resit in the summer but I'm just scared they'll find out that I had resat the exam. I am trying my best and maths is my weakest subject i'm hopefully I at least passed 1 out of the 4 maths exams I've done, but the 4 maths exams are equivalent to 2 GCSE grades, and I know one on each GCSE has let me down... so should I tell them if I failed? or keep it a secret? and hope for the best in summer... I may be overthinking this but I truly believe that I tried my best btw I did the intermediate paper.

You tried your best and that's all that matters. Definitely don't keep it a secret, like you said there are always resits. You'll have done amazing, don't worry!
