A lot of people going will be in a new college and without friends. So you don't need to worry - many people are in the same situation! You just need to try to talk to people, and people will talk to you, and you can try to make new friends. But it's just one day, so if things don't go well then you only have to survive for 8 or so hours.

The college will either provide you with a map, or will have people (older students, teachers etc) around to help. So you don't need to worry about getting lost. The teachers will understand if you do get lost, but they will try their best to prevent that happening.
