    Hi, i have recently supspended my studies and am returning next academic year, but my uni has yet to inform sfe so student finance has still paid me my maintainance, if some of the money was spent (to cover rent costs) but the resr of it was repayed right away would the outstanding amount be taken from my funding for next year? Thanks

    Hi

    If you have suspended, your application will be re-assessed to determine your eligibility for the time you were in attendance. If you have been paid more than the new entitlement amount, then this is classed as an over payment and we would require this to be repaid back to us as soon as you can.

    This may impact your funding for next academic year, however this does not mean that this will be recovered by any future funding you are eligible to.
