my mates spiked my drink with a viagra like substence (basically a cheap knockoff which is meant to have the same affect) on my birthday - didn't do anything! i wandered why they were all staring at my crotch! lol! but apparantly viagra doesn't work unless your already aroused.

a) Viagra has the same effect on non-impotent men as it does on impotent ones. It makes it easier to get an erection and reduces the latency period (so you can have sex and orgasm several times in quick succession). However, while this probably sounds fantastic to most guys, I read an article which said it's not all that great all the time - it just turns you into a machine and any emotional connection in sex is lost as you are literally just obeying your penis.

b) I don't think it's been proven to have any effect in trials, but some women believe it makes it easier to orgasm.

It is also, of course, illegal to get it without prescription.

A female mate said she wanted to try it and see what happens, and wants me to try it with her.

I'm not going to get like ultra horny and rape her or something right?

No, it was in the Sunday Times Magazine a while back. We have rocking weekends in our flat.

Doubt it, though if the two of you are taking it together doesn't that suggest she might actually be quite up for sex anyway? I don't think it makes you into a rapist, but it would probably make you quite horny.
Haha Ive always wondered what effect it would have on a woman, only heard that it makes you feel hornier!
Surely it will do absolutely nothing to women.

From Wikipedia:

'Part of the physiological process of erection involves the parasympathetic nervous system causing the release of nitric oxide (NO) in the corpus cavernosum of the penis. NO binds to the receptors of the enzyme guanylate cyclase which results in increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), leading to smooth muscle relaxation (vasodilation) in the corpus cavernosum, resulting in increased inflow of blood and an erection.

Sildenafil is a potent and selective inhibitor of cGMP specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) which is responsible for degradation of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum. The molecular structure of sildenafil is similar to that of cGMP and acts as a competitive binding agent of PDE5 in the corpus cavernosum, resulting in more cGMP and better erections. Without sexual stimulation, and therefore lack of activation of the NO/cGMP system, sildenafil should not cause an erection.'

Perhaps womean get extra bloodflow to their bits too, resulting in extra horniness? Doubt it though.

So I'm going to get:
A) A massive raging hard on for several hours
B) Horny

And she's going to get:
A) No physical effects at all
B) entertained by me trying to hide the aforementioned stiffy?

This doesn't sound like a great deal. :frown:

Welcome to being a man..
Cialis works quicker....Viagra is a bit old hat now in the erection world. AND its prescription only you morons.
Oh Samantha....yes but having lived in NYC SATC has no reality to it whatsoever.
Why has no one said that women get stiff necks yet!? I thought that'd be the most obvious jokey-post to occur...

Oh, and apparently spiking someone's drink with viagra can be lethal because it greatly increases blood flow and can cause a heart attack or something.

Don't tell her though, she might still think she's having the best time of her life. Placebo's cool.

Women also get exited with Viagra.
anon or delete please as this is a tad embarrassing

i used it today and it's works great on me, i felt dizzy and light headed and ultra-happy but that's because it increases the flow of blood around your body. I went to my GP and told him i was having trouble getting hard and he gave me 4 50mg tablets.
