What are the principles of mathematical and propositional logic?

HI, sorry you have had no reply yet - i can give you some basic tips on it, but beware cos 1. it is v complex 2. i do not know much about the topic.
The application of propositional logic is e.g. in switching circuits or gates where you have numerous inputs, each of which could be 0 or 1, in a sense analogous to the binary system of maths used by all computers, and you need to work out the results of each and every permutation of T (true) or F (False) variables (these could correctly be referred to as a set of boolean variables).
1. Truth functions
2. Karnaugh maps
3. nor and nand
My advice to you would be to get someone e.g. your teacher or a computer scientist to go through it with you verbally - it is v difficult to understand by just reading.
