Hey guys. I am not sure what to think of this, I basically got one of my grades back for computer networking and I hated it. I looked at the feedback the tutor gave me for the submission I put in. There was absolutely no negative feedback and it was all positive. How-ever he only awarded me a B+? He even said my code was well written and met all requirements of the exam, so that left me thinking why no A?

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Did anything happen about it?

As annoying as this seems, it makes sense to me. From my experience, Bs (especially high Bs) indicate that you've fully met all expectations. A grades are reserved for those who exceed whatever may be expected. Is it possible for you to ask for further feedback to discuss what you might have included to improve the mark?

Yes I did send him a nice email about a week ago when I received this grade but I didn't receive any response from him. I had him for a class last year, that was multithreading. And I did only exactly what was asked in the specification and he gave me an A for it? I just hope I get A's for my other two classes which I actually put a lot of work into. That should offset this grade. The funny thing is during my second year, the more effort i put in the crapper my grades seemed to get to be honest.
