Hi, I know us History of Art students are few and far between so I will be very surprised if this gets a response but if there are any Gericault or Picasso lovers still in existence, I feel I can find you here...

Basically, I'm teaching myself my A-levels and I have no idea what sort of essay format the exam actually wants. Is it similar to any other courses that may have more essay guidance online?

    Help please (:

Hello, good luck for tomorrow (if you are doing the AS)!

I'm self taught too, so I've had to use the mark schemes and exam reports to get a sense of how the examiners want us to write in the exam.

I think the essay format is just standard prose. I'm don't *think* we are allowed to use bullet point style responses for the HART1 exam (even though it lends itself to that kind of response).

    Good luck!
