Doing 5 As levels: phys, maths, further maths, chem and Welsh bacc), want to go to durham/manchester/warwick for physics. Feel like chem puts my other results at risk of being lower. Should i drop chem?

Yeah drop it, rather achieve 4 good results than 5 average results, these uni's won't look down on you for doing 4 A levels, in fact 4 A levels is pretty common

I just got an offer from Durham for Maths without submitting any of the entrance exam scores... And I pretty much do 2 subjects...

If you want more results you should consider sitting more maths modules.

98matt Did the same subjects as you. He also hates on Chem.

Alot of peeps hate on Chem, you're not on your own. - I'll need to say this. I failed AQA A Chem

Yeah that's exactly the same as me! I dropped chemistry after year 12 (AS) so I'll have A levels in maths, further maths, physics and welsh bacc in August! There are two people in my year group who continued chemistry on, and so will have 5 a levels in total. To do this, you've definitely got to be motivated to study chemistry otherwise it'll be really hard to get a respectable grade.
