OK, I recently applied for the course and received an invitation for interview, which is compulsory to be held on site. That is, because tests are carried out and they need to also evaluate our artistic portfolio. The whole process lasts for a day. This information is right from my email:
During the course of the day you will be asked to carry out a series of tasks that will test
• manual dexterity
• problem solving skills
• accurate handling of materials and tools
• colour matching
• colour vision.
There will be a short "slide test". The purpose is not to test your knowledge of art history, but to assess:
• your powers of observation
• basic understanding of painting techniques.
If there is any student in here from the Courtauld who knows ANYTHING about these tests, please share it, because I have less than two months to prepare, I don't know how and I am freaking out !
