    Hello,

Has anyone done an Economic Master's at uni after having done an unrelated degree.

I just finished my engineering undergrad and want to study MSc economics after doing a conversion course.

Really I'm just looking to see how other people's experiences have gone and if they have any tips on applying i.e. what to say on a personal statement.

    Thanks

If you meet the entry requirements getting on to the course shouldn't be a problem. In terms of personal statements you need to talk about why you want to do the course, the uni and department and a bit about your career path and plans. Your academic interests in the subject and how you've developed them also need to be discussed.
