hi i just done my ukcat and believe that it did not go so well i got;

verbal reasoning 470
quantitative reasoning 620
abstract reasoning 580
decision analysis 620

total of 2290

average of 572.5

how do i find out the cut off marks for each university, is it always above 600 for teh cut off marks, will a score like mine be good enough,

do the universities determine the application first just by teh ukcat result or as a application on the whole with the AS marks and predicitions and personal statement.

well you are below the queen mary's cut off point so don't apply there, as far as i know king's college have said that they will not introduce a cut off point this year so you should be fine. you exceed the the requirement of 2200 for southampton (i think?) and i'm not sure about anywhere else.

yes you exceed southampton's cut off point of 2200.

you still have the option of the medical schools with no entrance exams if you don't feel too confident with your ukcat; but as long as you have decent A-levels you should be fine.

I know St Georges require UKCAT, but they don't care about it much. They say that they don't really have much proof that a higher UKCAT score constitutes a better performance in med school.

What is the cut off UKCAT score for Queen Mary's? I got the following:

VR: 590 QR: 680 AR: 650 DA: 620, average 635. Is that good enough?
