Annoying 2016 TRENDS that we must leave behind in 2017 watch

Trends have come and gone and every year we get to see several which become really annoying. Some like them, some hate them, but 2016 was filled with some interesting things.

The challenges, the election, popular social and beauty trends, the memes, the phrases or words used. What is it that you got enough of and you want it to disappear in 2017?

    Mine are:
--> Dabbing and abbreviating words during actual spoken conversation. Instagram models and overdone eyebrows. Facebook memories. "No offence, but..''.

Every meme ever, anything that goes viral like mannequin challenge, snapchat filters, 'fake news', alt right, peoples obsession with people like Trump, Ben Shapiro, Milo Yiannopoulos etc.

Not a 2016 thing, but every youtuber needs to go too.

I take offense at mocking Greek names (it's Yiannopoulos - Yia-nno-pou-los).

Even though Milo is the worst export of Greece since...ever and does indeed need Jesus (ironically).

Wasn't intended to mock the Greek name, I just couldn't spell it and couldn't be bothered to look it up. Apologies for any offence caused!

Was kidding. He's the most vile individual I've ever witnessed and I've read Hitler's Table Talk.

"It's lit" - unless you are the people where this term came from and use it genuinely as part of your vocab instead of just copying the trend
    "YAAAS queen slay"
"I'M SCREAMING" - meaning something is mildly amusing
    "I'm shook"
Referring to inanimate as "she"... like you make beans on toast for dinner and say "OOHH she looks so good!"
    please shut up. please.

Challenge bandwagons that aren't actually challenges.

    E.g. mannequin challenge.

    Pls it's just dumb af.
