Trends have come and gone and every year we get to see several which become really annoying. Some like them, some hate them, but 2016 was filled with some interesting things.

The challenges, the election, popular social and beauty trends, the memes, the phrases or words used. What is it that you got enough of and you want it to disappear in 2017?

    Mine are:
--> Dabbing and abbreviating words during actual spoken conversation. Instagram models and overdone eyebrows. Facebook memories. "No offence, but..''.
    Nothing wrong with Dabbing.

However, I agree with you about the stupid overdone eyebrows, and everyone wanting to look like the Kardashian disaster.

in my day, dabbing meant putting MDMA in your mouth, on your tongue

It depends, if they actually listen to a lot of grime and say it as part of a joke kind of taking the mick out of themselves because they sound posh then it can be funny... but saying all the time, just no (unless ur from that culture obvs)... luckily I don't know anyone who does that
Americans that say it are the worst.

Excessive highlighter is a beauty trend which needs to die :argh:.

I don't think that's a lot of highlighter in the first picture. Maybe it's because I do my highlighter the same as her

Challenge bandwagons that aren't actually challenges.

    E.g. mannequin challenge.

    Pls it's just dumb af.

Try quitting TSR, now that's a challenge.
Try quitting TSR is definitely a challenge in 2017.

    I've got some more actually.

Snapchat filters-the dog and the flower crown need to go

Girls pledging allegiance to KK, and the other one

Roadmen-middle class kids going on about how they're so 'gangster'

Obsession with any boring female celebrity Gigi, Jennifer Lawrence etc.

Any stupid beauty trend from that year

Anyone going 'I was born in the wrong decade'. No.

Anyone using words like 'squad', 'lit', 'fam', and 'mandem', ironically.

Anyone who tries to unsuccessfully 'break the internet'

Old now but 'Netflix and Chill', no, just be honest about your intentions.

The words/phrases 'Yass', 'Slay Queen', and 'shut down'.

    Oh, and Buzzfeed.
