    Hey!

I'm currently on my A2 year and have recently chosen my firm and insurance unis. Was wondering about the dorms:
Do I select a place to live in after I meet my offers or can I do it earlier?
If no, then when should I seek for a room - some people say you should start considering dorms half a year before you get into the uni in order to have a bigger choice and grab a good one:/
So how do I do it?
    Any bits of advice?

    Thank you!

    Which uni is this for?

    My suggestion:

    1. Check when the applications will open for dorms.

    2. Scope them out now, regardless of the date, and start making a list of priorities.

    3. Apply when the applications open and continue life stress free

Was wondering whether you'd mistyped porn or dorm. I was hoping the former.

I'm applying to UCL and Manchester - just checked the Manchester and it says it's possible to apply now, however it requires the University ID. I've got no idea where to find it...

Check all communications in your email. (Type Manchester or whatever is most appropriate into the search box)

If not then contact the uni.

Also, check whether you need to firm before applying for accommodation (perhaps that is why you may not have a number?)
