If I did a BSc (hons) in counselling psychotherapies at Salford university and then a MSC in forensic mental health advance practice at Manchester universety, could I do a clinical psychology doctorate? It links to my masters but would it matter that I didn't do a pure psychology degree as I showed skills like CBT, and going in clinical placements?
What about doing a BPS accredited psychology degree in Clinical and abnormal psych at ARU? Its not pure psych but it links to the doctorate and is approved by the BPS?
However, I wouldn't put your life on hold for 5/6 years for the slim chance of becoming a clinical psychologist (its a way oversubscribed course).
