Matt the Cat lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Everyday he gets the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building to go to UCL. Upon returning from uni though, he can only travel half way up in the lift and has to walk the rest of the way unless it's raining! WHY?
probably already dont but I dont care...

1)The dude is a dwarf, he can go all the way up on raining days becuase he has an umbrella to press the buttons on the elevator.

You don't need anything other than gravity for the lift to go down. And there's only enough power to make it go up half-way because Matt is so fat. Therefore, it requires water energy for the second-half.

A man and his son are in a car accident. The father dies on the scene, but the child is rushed to the hospital. When he arrives the surgeon says "I can't operate on this boy, he is my son!" How can this be?

The mother obviously slept with 2 guys at the same time and therefore, the son didn't know who his real father was until he was on the operating table

    3.
A man is wearing black. Black shoes, socks, trousers, jumper, gloves and balaclava. He is walking down a black street with all the street lamps off. A black car is coming towards him with its light off too but somehow manages to stop in time. How did the driver see the man?

    Easy. It's called luck.

One day Adhsur celebrated her birthday. Two days later her older twin brother, Jools, celebrated his birthday. Why?

Adshur was born on Feb 28th at 11:59pm while Jools was born on Mar 01st at 00:01am. However, since it's a leap year now, they have Feb 29th between their 2 birthdays.......actually, let me think that through again, lol.

    5.
Why is it better to have round manhole covers than square ones?

Erm......round manholes are not sharp and therefore more safer?

    6.
Chubb went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why didn’t Chubb die?

    Because Chubb is a robot

    7.
Kildare walks into a bar and asks the barman for a glass of water. The barman pulls out a gun and points it at Kildare. Kildare says 'Thank you' and walks out.

The barman had no clean glasses left so he used his water pistol instead.

A square manhole cover can be turned and dropped down the diagonal of the manhole. A round manhole cannot be dropped down the manhole. So for safety and practicality, all manhole covers should be round.

they could be equilateral triangles and that would be rather nice for chesty man-holing women (that sounds so wrong) as well

If your mother is named Sandy, and she has 4 daughters, what is the name of the other daughter if the other three are named Penny, Nickle and Dime?
    dollar?

    (Original post by ThornsnRoses)
    dollar?
I'll go with that, only I'm guessing it's going to be a really obscure answer.
