I got 5A*s 4As and 1B (the B is in English Language so I know that Bristol and East Anglia is out of the picture for me) at GCSE and I don't want to end up applying to the wrong medical schools when the time comes :afraid:
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you beautiful people! X

Those GCSEs are really good- well done! Is there any way that you can resit the english language exam? would they count a resit? x

Exeter mainly look at your predicted grades, and put you in a category. So A*A*A is 1st category, A*AA second etc. when giving out interviews. So if you get high predicted grades, theres a high chance of an interview.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Since you haven't done your UKCAT nor do you have predicted grades, I can only tell you where you can't apply which is:

Cardiff, Birmingham, QUB, Leicester (unless applying with achieved A Levels), Nottingham, Leeds (unless you get 4 A's) however I'm unsure of the others.

You definitely could apply for Nottingham and Leicester as long as you have a good UKCAT. Both unis look at both GCSEs and UKCAT. They have a scoring system that would give you a good idea of how you would compare with previous years cut offs.
