    Hey, I am currently in year 9 and I have to choose my GCSE's very soon before going into year 10 in may where from what our choices where we will be practicing before actually taking our GCSE's.I am not sure what I would like to go for though as I was currently interested in working in A&E now I thought about midwifery but then this got me very interested Neonatal nurse I found that to be very interesting and I am having trouble which one o do I would like recommendation on which one to do but I would also like to have my question's answered I but I this means that I have some question... I have read through some of these comments and I can see that the subjects that are most recommend to take are ; triple science, health and care,sociology and child development ... can someone recommend me what I should do as a career choice and give me some more advice on Neonatal nurse and midwifery also more about my GCSE's

    Only you can decide what you want to do in the future. You don't have to decide on a specific career now. Triple science definitely sounds like a good option though, as this will help you with the careers you are interested in. As for the rest of your GCSEs, take things that interest you. You can get onto most A-Level courses with good grades in general. Pick things you'll do well in. Look into what A-Levels you might consider, like sciences, and see what you need to do those. I know my school definitely didn't offer GCSEs in sociology, health and social care, and child development so see if yours does before setting your heart on them. I did triple science, drama, religious studies, music, history, and resistant materials. I'm studying TV and Film now, to study animation as a degree. My GCSEs weren't all that relevant in where I am now. Definitely talk to your teachers about it, particularly science, and see what they suggest. They know your strengths and weaknesses much better than I do
