It might just be that it's very late, and could come very soon.

If it still doesn't though, and you miss 2 or more, go and see your GP as it might be something medical.

When you've only had them for a few years you can just miss random one's or they can be irregular, also alot of people find that it effects their periods if they're stressed. If your 100% sure you cant be pregnant then there's probably not anything to be worried about!

If you've not had sex or anything, don't worry about pregnancy! It's probably just late due to stress or something. It's happened to me before. But yeah, there is NO chance you are pregnant. If you don't get a period for a while go to the Docs if you are worried. I reckon it will come soon enough though

Thanks for the advice. :] I'd hate to think it was anything medical as I want lots of babies [well, eventually]. Lol. I'd say I have been stressed lately but I'm usually always stressed! But I'm sure it willl be alright.

Could be down to stress or diet. Also for the first two years after you start having periods they can be irregular. If you haven't had one for a few months might be worth a trip to the doctors.

My period stopped for 3 months last year - during the time I had no sex life either.
I went to the doc's about it, they said it was due to stress/depression.

I'm also thinking that if you dramatically change your diet it can affect what hormones are released in your body - which could delay your period also.
And yes, there's the common "your period cycle hasn't settled down yet."
Hum.. what else could it be..
Over exposure to radiation?

Hehe no.
But yeah, sometimes it's just stress, or maybe you've done loads of sports recently, or been on a plane flight, or perhaps had a terrible fright/adrenaline rush.
If it doesnt come after 3 months though - see a doctor. It may actually be a health problem.

are your periods naturally irregular? I used to have one wacky cycle, it would be 33 days for a few months, then i'd miss one then it would be 26 or something, then back to 33. I suggest you see your GP and ask if he can put you on the pill for a few months to regulate your cycle. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about
