    So I have been rejected by ey after the numerical and verbals, this for the summer internship btw. Question is can I apply next year?

    Did the rejection letter say anything? Some companies allow you to apply a year after the rejection date. I haven't heard of any being longer than that so it should be fine.

    Yes, almost definitely, usually it's a 6 month period but worth checking with them.

    However, there's lots of consulting firms, suggest you don't wait!
