    Hello! I just recently joined this forum just for my igcse english first language (code 0500). My school is making us all give first language though here our first language isnt english and i've heard that its very difficult to get an A in it. What do you all suggest. Please do tell.

    What exam board is it? I do OCR IGCSE and the exam structure goes along the lines of (marks/ question)

    2+2
    6
    12
    18
    = 40 on unseen texts plus an additional 40 (creative writing)
    We have 2 papers (1 non fiction and 1 fiction)
    I've attached a specimem paper from my ecxam board to see if we do the same board
    If you think we do the same board I can send you my notes/ essay structures and exam technique
