Becoming a CRA (clinical research associate)

Hey everyone,

As you may have guessed, I'm at that time of my life where I'm weighing up my future career options. I'm applying to med school as a graduate this October, however my interest in clinical trials and their administration has sparked an interest in becoming a clinical research associate. However, all I've been able to find so far is servier.co.uk, who I've emailed and received no reply about how to begin life as a CRA.

Does anyone know where I can find out more info about the exact responsibilities of a CRA, and how I can maximise my chances of becoming successful in applying for such a job?? I currently have a 2:1 in Human Bio at St Andrews, and am doing an MSc in Virology at Manchester this year.

Any help would be awesome
