    Once you've had nail surgery, how long do you have to keep your foot up to prevent a blood clot?

    I'm not too sure. After a tonsillectomy it's a week or two they suggest elevating your head so maybe that. Anyway, if you have any questions like that you can call the hospital you had the surgery or a pharmacy.
