Economic and social liberalism are necessarily intertwined. You cannot meaningfully be one without being the other.

Neoliberalism is liberal by name only, it is not liberal in practice.

The Budget is liberal in that it massively increases the scope of choice in society, the goal of liberalism. It has nothing to do with SJWs and does not attempt to restrict speech in any way - the only illiberal part of 'social justice'. Adam Smith is a poor example of a liberal, not least because The Wealth of Nations is far from pure liberalism even in the 'economic' sense you describe. I think he may well support it.

Of course I'm nervous about losing. The Government has 21 votes. No Budget has ever passed by a landslide.
I really do disagree with you!
Neoliberalism is true liberalism IMO and I am sure most of the libers would agree with me!

    Interesting

That is why you are desperately trying to win votes in the libers thread

May I remind the right honourable gentlemen that although their debate of the budget is fascinating stuff, it isn't strictly relevant to the Libertarian Party, and could I suggest that they take it to the bar.

Connor is right, also you're both wrong in trying to exclude people from the definition of liberalism. It's a very broad term.

I'm not trying to win votes. I'm correcting your lies about the budget.

Also, the libertarian party is not the most liberal party in the House due to their worship of economic liberalism over overall liberalism.

That doesn't change the fact that we are the most liberal party in the house both in terms of policy and organization

Do you guys think the libertarianism/neoliberalism is truly liberal?
I think it's one of two types of liberalism, the other being social/modern liberalism

You have a leader in all but name (Des) we have a leader in name only (Gladstone).

It's an easy mistake to make but it's true nonetheless...
