If insulting me with the whole 'oh you lack a spine' party line is the best you have, then lol. It's not original. :toofunny:

In all fairness, it was just friendly advice because snapping and biting constantly isn't fun. You don't necessarily have to listen to me, I'm not asking you to.
That wasn't used as a insult it was used to show your parties reputation

I'm not playing this as a game where we insult each other back and forth, I hope that's not what you think this is! I simply feel that your advice is misguided

we are porcupines (as the name suggests) and are willing to use the natural self-defense in our quills when threatened.
I guess that explains why the porcupine is in the name of this thread

SF claimed that we have an issue in the Libertarians in that we breach others' privacy. I pointed out that this is a load of given that the information was distributed via skype chat by Nigel for all to see.
Regardless of how many people are in a Skype chat, it is still a private place. That is very different to publicly posting something on the internet. Being one of 40 people with whom a titbit from another party's subofrum is shared doesn't give you any more of a right to post it publicly for the world to see than receiving it from Nigel in an individual PM. The 'all to see' claim is a load of nonsense and you know it.

A chat to which everyone is granted permission upon request is a private place, huh? The fact that the chat has grown so large makes it an effective extension of TSR. If Nigel would have liked to restrict access to that information, he could very well have done so via PM but we all know that his ego and desire to stir up drama prevented him from doing so. It is not the responsibility of my members to unsee things nor to keep their mouths shut when they have evidence.

This is a pointless debate to be having and I would prefer it wasn't had here, so if you have a question, ask it, otherwise be on your merry way

It pleases me to announce the addition of fleky6910 following an internal membership vote. I have no doubt that his work ethic and enthusiasm regarding libertarian economics will make him an asset to our party. He has expressed both fiscally and socially libertarian views since his departure from the Conservative Party and is entirely consistent with our philosophy in my opinion.

Sidenote: Going forward we hope to work together as a united Libertarian Party in advancing our ideals through rational discourse and avoiding petty feuds.

    Welcome!

As far as I'm concerned, Hazzer is not a member because he has not applied; the announcement was premature. Fleky is a libertarian, so we admitted him.

Can't believe people don't like tea. Mortifying.

Hypothetically, were I to consume tea, it would have to be high quality Yorkshire tea, made in Harrogate.

Has that crossed the Irish Sea yet? If not, you don't know what you're missing!

    Mehhhh I can accept that.
I actually know a really boring story about why the Irish drink what's been rated as the highest quality tea and its links to Anglo-Irish bank.

    ^^

    Read and weep, comrade.

This is the single most important reason Irish people drink what is frequently described as the highest-quality tea in the world. When Tea Importers Ltd was established, it insisted Irish tea makers dealt directly with producers in countries of origin. So Irish tea merchants started travelling, and quickly they found that darker teas from east Africa – as opposed to the lighter Indian and Sri Lankan leaves popular in England – went down a treat here.

Legalise handguns? 32000 people are shot in America every year. Do you want to fill the UK with bodies?

Don't talk about safeguards and licensing; legalizing handguns would open a pandora's box of crime, death and further deregulation.
