Gladstone going indie means that in the space of a week, a Libertarian Deputy Leader has quit the party and the House, in part due to having perceived hostility towards himself in the party, and an ex-Leader has left the party because of its scandal-prone nature, which has largely been caused by the attitude of certain members. This comes after repeated complaints from across the House about some Libertarians' behaviour. Will the Libertarian Party accept that it has a problem, and what does it intend to do to solve that problem?

You're a moron. I contacted you because several people have expressed that they would support me as an independent and since you yourself gloriously failed to win a seat I thought you'd be sympathetic to the idea.

Anyway it might be a good time to announce why I resigned from the Libertarian Party. The party is simply too prone to scandals and I fear that this will not improve anytime in the near future. The rhetoric of certain members doesn't help the party's image. I will return if and when I feel things have significantly improved. In the upcoming term I will focus on creating a workable House media outlet and aiding parties and individuals on policy on an informal basis.

I have no desire to be a member of an unofficial opposition again; there is no influence there.
Unexpected. However, I can understand this.

Fleky ****ed up, we accept that just wish the speaker had enough of a spine to stand by his original correct decision rather than setting the precedent he can give seats to whoever he wants.

I didn't see people complaining when the tories where talking about destroying my party, I've asked for consistency from the house rather than being blamed for every problem but you would rather blame the libertarians for the problems than the people who are starting the arguments.

I certainly remember criticising the Tories at that time. When I see a problem, I say what and where the problem is, and in this case it is clear that a couple of Libertarian members are choosing to behave in an inappropriate manner. That does not make me biased against your party, it's just a statement of fact.

    Congrats to Connor27.
He is very capable and I am sure he will steer to the party towards good things. It is a difficult time to become Deputy Leader of this party and I am sure Connor will bring the strength and stability to the party which is needed at this crucial time. Hopefully, he can help steer the ship in the coming months and help the party recover from my acts of incompetence. He is the right man for the job and I am sure he will be a far better Deputy Leader than myself.

The Libertarian party is a true force to be reckoned with and I hope they continue to oppose the big government, left-wing consensus. The Libertarian party needs to recover quickly from this scandal and I am sure they will do exactly that. They should seek to improve their credibility and I am sure now that I am gone their credibility has improved. I would like to thank the party as a whole for being welcoming and supportive during my tenure as Deputy Leader. It has been an honour to have been in the party. Good luck for the term ahead!

Why did you add him to your party if the user hasn't been dupe checked yet?

If the Libertarians are anything like the Socialists, it's because dupe checks take up to a week and sometimes even longer, which dissuades potential new members from getting involved. The vast majority of people aren't dupes, and anyone who was would only be in the party for a few days anyway.

Humourous because Gladstone recently became an 'independent'.
