I'm having trouble with my chronic anxiety. I've suffered from it for a number of years, it's getting to the point where it has impacted my mental health a great amount and caused me to miss my first trimester. My course tutor know of my mental health condition and is aware of the impact it's having on me. I'm having horrid Panic Attacks thinking I'm going to get withdrawn from uni.

Am I still able to sit my second trimester, or can I defer for a second year ?

You will need to put that in your uni file as a condition if you have not done so already. If it is affecting your performance in uni and you need time off physically, mentally and emotionally they will understand. You most likely will need a doctors note though. Go and have a chat with them. It's a serious condition. They have to understand. Good luck mate.

I suggest you discuss it with student support. Maybe write a pros and cons list to help you work out what you want. I also think you should see a doctor and ask about therapy if you haven't already.
Whatever things you think of, just remember that your health should come above anything else. You can always re-visit things when you recover.
