Like Sheffield and Nottingham over UCL and LSE because I want a better student experience that's more fun? Also, I'm not from the UK and won't be working in the UK so university prestige is of no concern to me

Nottingham is quite a good uni. I guess being abroad, UCL and LSE are more popular.

You are aware that some courses are better at 'less prestigious' universities right?

Prestige might be considered important in some regards, but when you're committing to spend 3 years of your life there, I'd say it's better to choose a university you think you'll be happy at!

Not at all. In fact too many students get far too fixated with prestige.

University should be a time enjoyment and self-development. Go to the university where you believe you'll manage that best.

If it is just studying in the UK, I can't imagine that university prestige is so important for your career. Some companies appreciate it, if someone is studying abroad anyway.
