    I've received my predicted grades for my GCSEs and I've been predicted a C for science which I'm really worried about because I want to do Biology for my A Levels. I spoke to my teacher and she said that although I've been predicted a C, I will still be doing the higher tier for Biology, giving me the chance to get above a C. My problem is that the college I want to apply to, the minimum entry requirement for Biology is a B, but my overall prediction grade for Science is a C, not Biology on its own, what if they don't accept me thinking that I will only get a C in Biology, Chemistry and Physics??

    What did you get in your mocks? You should still apply to do A level Biology as it's possible that the college/sixth form will still accept you with a C for your predicted grade as long as you get a B or above in the real exam.

    I got a B for my Biology mock but a D for chemistry because I didn't really care about that as I'm not planning to take Chemistry as an A Level, but now it's affected my whole predicted grade.

    Maybe you could tell them that you got a B in your biology mock? Or ask your science teacher to write your college reference

    Unless the sixth form is really competitive, as long as you get the B in Biology and you show them on enrolment day you'll be fine.
