I'm going to be choosing my A-level options in the next couple weeks
We've just had an open evening, and prospectus
I'm 100% studying Chemistry and Physics next year

But my 3rd option (As there's no 4th anymore) is making me struggle
    History Or Psychology?
I'm very strong for History at GCSE but would like some advice from current /past students about their experiences on these courses
What are you hoping to do at University?

I believe that you need maths to study chemistry at most unis, I would do it if you're on track for an A* as its not hard at all, requires very little work outside of lessons. My school let high achievers take 4 A Levels so would it be possible to talk to them about doing 4?

    Chemistry
Could do Biology alongside Chemistry and Physics but I would research what A Levels would go well for Chemistry at Uni.

It is impossible to do 4 A Levels now at our school, unless you already have maths and your 4th is to do Further maths

I spoke to head of sixth about it
It's because cannot drop an AS subject anymore, so all subjects are A2 from the second you start studying

    I'm on for a 6/7 (B/A) in GCSE maths
Ohh okay. I would strongly consider doing maths, physics and chemistry. Maths and Chemistry are hard requirements for most unis (Oxford, Durham and many more) and some unis want to see a third science - Cambridge nat sci as well as imperial just to name a couple. if you're 100% sure that you want to do chemistry you shouldn't inhibit your uni choices by knowingly choosing the wrong subjects now.
