After getting cruelly rejected by Cambridge, I am having a really hard time figuring what to put firm and what insurance (I got offers for all other four), here are the courses and conditions:

    LSE - International Relations AAA
Warwick - Politics, International Studies, and Quantitative Methods AA
Durham - Combined Honours in Social Sciences A*A
Edinburgh - International Relations with Quantitative Methods ABB

Some only ask for two grades as I did a full A-level last year, but Edinburgh insists on one sitting only...

I have spoken to many people, and many suggest me to firm LSE.
But, disregarding uni reputation, I least like LSE's course (Warwick and Edinburgh the most, you could probably tell that I quite like maths as well)
Nonetheless, I know LSE has a really good reputation.

I'm thinking of putting LSE firm and Warwick insurance. Suggestions?

You have until May to decide... but generally it's much better to go with the course you prefer.

Why spend 3 or 4 years studying a course you don't quite like?

Nope. And especially not of you end up with a 2.2 or worse (because you don't enjoy the course as much).

    Sorry to hijack a thread
What would you say about choosing the course I prefer I've over the uni I prefer when the course is York but the uni is Oxford? Would an Oxford degree at a lower level be worth more?

Not in one day - Track makes the date the same once you have heard from all five unis so that you could make a decision
